Originally from the West Coast, Dr. Patenaude grew up in Arizona and attended the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University. She graduated with the Outstanding Graduate Award with a degree in Human Nutrition. In 2013, she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She then completed her pediatric dental specialty training through NYU Lutheran Medical Center in sunny Hawaii and served as Chief Resident.
Her love for adventure and exploration led Dr. Patenaude to Alaska and now to Texas, where she is excited to be a part of the Smiley Tooth Family serving the children of Rockwall and Sulphur Springs.
Dr. Patenaude has trained in treating patients under nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral conscious sedation, and general anesthesia. She is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Patenaude is a newlywed and her and her husband currently live in Dallas, in her free time she enjoys hiking and traveling.
